उद्यतप्रतिपिष्टानां खड्गानां वीरबाहुभि: । आसीत् सुतुमुल: शब्द: शरीरेष्वभिपात्यताम्,वीरोंकी भुजाओंके साथ उठे हुए खड्ग शत्रुके शरीरोंपर पड़ते और विपक्षी योद्धओंके घातक प्रहारोंसे टूटकर चूर-चूर हो जाते थे, उस समय उनका अत्यन्त भयंकर शब्द सुन पड़ता था
udyata-pratipiṣṭānāṁ khaḍgānāṁ vīra-bāhubhiḥ | āsīt sutumulaḥ śabdaḥ śarīreṣv abhipātyatām ||
ਵਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਬਾਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਖੜਗ ਜਦੋਂ ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰੀਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਧੜਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਡਿੱਗਦੇ, ਤਦ ਮਾਰਕ ਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹਥਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਟਕਰਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਅਤਿ ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਤੂਮੁਲ ਧੁਨੀ ਗੂੰਜ ਉਠਦੀ ਸੀ।
