नारदेन गरुडात्मजानां नामकीर्तनम् | Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants
असुरा: कालखज्जाश्व तथा विष्णुपदोद्धवा: । नैर्नता यातुधानाश्र ब्रह्मपादोद्धवाश्व ये
asurāḥ kālakhajjāśvā tathā viṣṇupadoddhavāḥ | nairṛtā yātudhānāś ca brahmapādoddhavāś ca ye, mātale |
ਹੇ ਮਾਤਲੀ! ਭਗਵਾਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਪੰਨ ‘ਕਾਲਖੱਜ’ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਅਸੁਰ, ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਨੈਤ ਤੇ ਯਾਤੁਧਾਨ—ਵੱਡੇ ਦੰਦਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ, ਭਿਆਨਕ ਵੇਗ ਵਾਲੇ, ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦੀ ਹਵਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ-ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਪੰਨ—ਇਸ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ।
