नारदेन गरुडात्मजानां नामकीर्तनम् | Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants
नैतानि शक््यं निर्देष्टर रूपतो द्रव्यतस्तथा । गुणतश्वैव सिद्धानि प्रमाणगुणवन्ति च
naitāni śakyaṃ nirdeṣṭuṃ rūpato dravyatas tathā | guṇataś caiva siddhāni pramāṇaguṇavanti ca ||
ਨਾਰਦ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਵਰਣਨ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਰੂਪ ਨਾਲ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਹ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਤਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਠੀਕ ਮਾਪ, ਸੁੰਦਰ ਅਨੁਪਾਤ ਤੇ ਸਰਵਗੁਣ-ਸੰਪੰਨਤਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਣੀਯ ਹਨ।
