नारदेन गरुडात्मजानां नामकीर्तनम् | Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants
वैदूर्यमणिचित्राणि प्रवालरुचिराणि च । अर्कस्फटिकशु भ्राणि वज्जसारोज्ज्वलानि च
vaidūryamaṇicitrāṇi pravālarucirāṇi ca | arkasphaṭikaśubhrāṇi vajrasārojjvalāni ca ||
ਨਾਰਦ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—“ਇਹ ਵੈਦੂਰਯ ਮਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਜੜਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਸਜੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਮਨੋਹਰ ਬਣੇ ਹਨ। ਅਰਕ-ਫੁੱਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਫਟਿਕ ਵਾਂਗ ਸ਼ੁੱਧ ਚਿੱਟੀ ਚਮਕ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ; ਉੱਤਮ ਵਜ੍ਰ (ਹੀਰੇ) ਜੜੇ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਤੇਜ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਦਮਕਦੇ ਹਨ।”
