अभ्यागच्छति दाशाहें धार्तराष्ट्री महायशा:
abhyāgacchati dāśāheṃ dhārtarāṣṭrī mahāyaśāḥ
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਨਿਯਤ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਯਸ਼ ਵਾਲੀ ਧਾਰਤਰਾਸ਼ਟ੍ਰੀ (ਗਾਂਧਾਰੀ) ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧ ਕੇ ਆਈ। ਇਹ ਪੰਕਤੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਤੇ ਗੌਰਵਮਈ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਸੰਕੇਤ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਟ ਨੇੜੇ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਕੁਰੂ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਦਬਾਅ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
