अध्याय ८ — शल्यस्य सत्कारः, वरदानं, पाण्डवसमागमश्च (Śalya’s Reception, the Boon, and Meeting the Pāṇḍavas)
आजगाम सभामन्यां देवावसथवर्चसम् | स तत्र विषयैर्युक्त: कल्याणैरतिमानुषै:
ājagāma sabhām anyāṃ devāvasathavarcasaṃ | sa tatra viṣayair yuktaḥ kalyāṇair atimānuṣaiḥ ||
ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਸਭਾ-ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ, ਜੋ ਦੇਵ-ਨਿਵਾਸ ਵਾਂਗ ਚਮਕਦਾ ਸੀ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਮੰਗਲਮਈ, ਅਲੌਕਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਕਲਾ ਤੋਂ ਪਰੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਭੋਗ-ਸਾਮਗਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।
