सुयोधनमते तिष्ठन् राजास्मासु जनार्दन । मिथ्या चरति लुब्ध: सन् चरन् हि प्रियमात्मन:,जनार्दन! उनका लोभ इतना बढ़ गया है कि वे दुर्योधनकी ही हाँ-में-हाँ मिलाते हैं और अपना ही प्रिय कार्य करते हुए हमारे साथ मिथ्या व्यवहार कर रहे हैं
suyodhanamate tiṣṭhan rājāsmāsu janārdana | mithyā carati lubdhaḥ san caran hi priyam ātmanaḥ ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਜਨਾਰਦਨ! ਸੁਯੋਧਨ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਟਿਕ ਕੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਝੂਠਾ ਵਰਤਾਵ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲੋਭ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਹاں ਮਿਲਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
