भीष्मद्रोणकृपादीनां भयादशनिसंनि भम् । रिरक्षिषन्त: संरम्भं गमिष्यन्तीति मे मति:,'भीष्म, द्रोण और कृप आदिके भयसे पाण्डवोंकी रक्षा चाहते हुए देवतालोग भीष्म आदिपर वज्रके समान भयंकर क्रोध करेंगे, ऐसा मेरा विश्वास है
bhīṣma-droṇa-kṛpādīnāṃ bhayād aśani-sannibham | rirakṣiṣantaḥ saṃrambhaṃ gamiṣyantīti me matiḥ ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ, ਦ੍ਰੋਣ, ਕ੍ਰਿਪ ਆਦਿ ਦੇ ਡਰ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਂਡਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਚਾਹੁਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਭੀਸ਼ਮ-ਪੱਖ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਵਜ੍ਰ ਵਰਗੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਠ ਖੜੇ ਹੋਣਗੇ—ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਤ ਹੈ।
