Udyoga Parva Adhyāya 58 — Saṃjaya’s Audience and Kṛṣṇa’s Deterrent Counsel (संजय-प्रवेशः कृष्णवाक्यं च)
संजयने कहा--भरतवंशी नरेश! सुनिये। मैंने वीरवर श्रीकृष्ण और अर्जुनको जैसे देखा है और उन्होंने जो संदेश दिया है, वह आपको बता रहा हूँ ।।
sañjaya uvāca—bharatavaṃśī nareśa! śṛṇu. mayā vīravarau śrīkṛṣṇārjunau yathā dṛṣṭau, yac ca tau sandesam abruvātām, tat te nivedayāmi. pādāṅgulīr abhiprekṣan prayato ’haṃ kṛtāñjaliḥ | śuddhāntaṃ prāviśaṃ rājan ākhyātuṃ naradevayoḥ ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਹੇ ਭਰਤਵੰਸ਼ੀ ਰਾਜਨ, ਸੁਣੋ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਧਨੰਜਯ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਹ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਯਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ, ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ, ਨਜ਼ਰ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਉਂਗਲੀਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਝੁਕਾ ਕੇ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਤਹਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।
