Dhṛtarāṣṭra–Duryodhana Dialogue on Peace and the Refusal of Compromise
येषु सम्प्रतितिष्ठेयु: कुरव: पीडिता: परै: । ते युद्ध नाभिनन्दन्ति तत् तुभ्यं तात रोचताम्
yeṣu sampratitiṣṭheyuḥ kuravaḥ pīḍitāḥ paraiḥ | te yuddhaṃ nābhinandanti tat tubhyaṃ tāta rocatām ||
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਕੌਰਵ, ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਬਾਅ ਹੇਠ ਵੀ, ਡਟ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ—ਉਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਯੁੱਧ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਏ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਕਬੂਲ ਹੋਵੇ।
