त्यक्त मे जीवितं राज्यं धनं सर्व च पार्थिव । न जातु पाण्डवै: सार्थ वसेयमहमच्युत,राज्यच्युत न होनेवाले महाराज! मैं जीवन, राज्य, धन--सब कुछ छोड़ सकता हूँ, परंतु पाण्डवोंके साथ मिलकर कदापि नहीं रह सकता
tyaktaṁ me jīvitaṁ rājyaṁ dhanaṁ sarvaṁ ca pārthiva | na jātu pāṇḍavaiḥ sārthaṁ vaseyam aham acyuta ||
ਹੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ! ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜਾਨ, ਰਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਧਨ ਵੀ ਤਿਆਗ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਪਰ ਪਾਂਡਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ।
