Sainyasaṅgraha and Bhāga-Vyavasthā (Forces Assembled and Rival Allocations) | सैन्यसंग्रह-भागव्यवस्था
यतो नारोचयदयं विग्रहं तैर्महात्मभि: । पुत्रोंसहित धर्मज्ञ एवं यशस्वी महात्मा पाण्डव कितने बलशाली हैं
yato nārocayad ayaṁ vigrahaṁ tair mahātmabhiḥ |
ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਹਾਤਮਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੈਰ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ; ਉਹ ਧਰਮਜ੍ਞ ਤੇ ਯਸ਼ਸਵੀ ਪਾਂਡਵ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੈ, ਇਹ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਐਸੇ ਉੱਚੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਯੁੱਧ ਛੇੜਨਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੁਚਿਕਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਿਆ।
