अम्बा–राम–भीष्म संवादः
Amba–Rama–Bhishma Dialogue on Vow and Refuge
ततः कृतस्वस्त्ययनो मात्रा च प्रतिनन्दित: । द्विजातीन् वाच्य पुण्याहं स्वस्ति चैव महाद्युते
tataḥ kṛtasvastyayano mātrā ca pratinanditaḥ | dvijātīn vācya puṇyāhaṃ svasti caiva mahādyute, yattuṃ sūtena śiṣṭena bahuśo dṛṣṭakarmaṇā |
ਫਿਰ ਮੰਗਲ-ਕਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਵਸਤਿਵਾਚਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਮਾਤਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਅਭਿਨੰਦਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ‘ਪੁਣ੍ਯਾਹ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਸਵਸ੍ਤੀ’ ਦਾ ਉਚਾਰਣ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ ਕਲਿਆਣਕਾਰੀ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਲਿਆ। ਹੇ ਮਹਾਦ੍ਯੁਤੇ! ਫਿਰ ਬਹੁ ਵਾਰ ਕਰਤੱਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਖੇ ਹੋਏ, ਸ਼ਿਸ਼ਟ ਤੇ ਸੁਸ਼ਿਖਿਆਤ ਸਾਰਥੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
