अथवा ते मतिस्तत्र राजपुत्रि न वर्तते । यावच्छाल्वपतिं वीर॑ योजयाम्यत्र कर्मणि

Transliteration

athavā te matis tatra rājaputri na vartate | yāvac chālvapatiṁ vīraṁ yojayāmy atra karmaṇi ||

Translation

ਜਾਂ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜਕੁਮਾਰੀ! ਜੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਮਨ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਦਾ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਵੀਰ ਸ਼ਾਲਵ-ਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ—ਅਰਥਾਤ ਤੇਰਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
