Bhishma–Dhritarashtra Dialogue: Appraisal of Pandava Strength
एष चारिषु विक्रान्त: कर्म सत्पुरुषोचितम् | कर्ता विमर्दे सुमहत् त्वदर्थे पुरुषोत्तम:,पुरुषश्रेष्ठ सत्यवान् शत्रुओंपर महान् पराक्रम दिखाते हैं। ये युद्धमें तुम्हारे लिये श्रेष्ठ पुरुषोंके योग्य महान् कर्म करेंगे
eṣa cāriṣu vikrāntaḥ karma satpuruṣocitam | kartā vimarde sumahat tvadarthe puruṣottamaḥ | puruṣaśreṣṭhaḥ satyavān śatrūṇām upari mahān parākramaṃ darśayiṣyati ||
ਉਹ ਜੰਗੀ ਵ੍ਯੂਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਤਪੁਰਖਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਭਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਰਮ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼ੋਤਮ! ਰਣ ਦੇ ਘਮਸਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਿਰਤ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
