Ulūka’s Provocation and Keśava’s Counter-Message (उलूकदूत्ये केशवप्रत्युत्तरम्)
ततः प्राज्ञतम: कश्चिड्डिण्डिको नाम मूषिक: । अब्रवीद् वचनं राजन् मूषिकाणां महागणम्
tataḥ prājñatamaḥ kaścid ḍiṇḍiko nāma mūṣikaḥ | abravīd vacanaṃ rājan mūṣikāṇāṃ mahāgaṇam |
ਤਦ ਚੂਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੰਡਿਕ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਚੂਹਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ ਸੀ। ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਚੂਹਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਮਹਾਨ ਜਮਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਬਚਨ ਕਿਹਾ—
