असंग्राहा: सुसम्पन्ना हेमभाण्डपरिच्छदा: । अनेकशतसाहमस्रा: सर्वे सादिवशे स्थिता:

Transliteration

asaṅgrāhāḥ susampannā hemabhāṇḍaparicchadāḥ | anekaśatasāhasrāḥ sarve sādīvaśe sthitāḥ ||

Translation

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਹ ਘੋੜੇ ਉੱਛਲ-ਕੂਦ ਆਦਿ ਉੱਦੰਡ ਦੋਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਧੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਰੀਤ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਿਕਸ਼ਿਤ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਜ਼-ਸਾਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਜਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ-ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਵਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ।
