Sāma–Bheda–Daṇḍa
यादवानां कुलकरो बलवान् वीर्यसम्मत: । अवमेने स तु क्षत्रं दर्पपूर्ण: सुमन्दधी:,“वे बलवान, उत्तम पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न एवं यादवोंके वंशप्रवर्तक हुए थे। उनकी बुद्धि बड़ी मन्द थी और उन्होंने घमंडमें आकर समस्त क्षत्रियोंका अपमान किया था
yādavānāṃ kulakaro balavān vīryasammataḥ | avamene sa tu kṣatraṃ darpapūrṇaḥ sumandadhīḥ ||
ਵਾਯੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਉਹ ਯਾਦਵ ਵੰਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਰਤਕ, ਮਹਾਂ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਮੰਦ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਕਸ਼ਤਰੀ ਵਰਗ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
