बाह्लीकस्य प्रियो भ्राता शान्तनोश्व॒ महात्मन: । सौक्षात्रं च परं तेषां सहितानां महात्मनाम्
Bāhlīkasya priyo bhrātā Śāntanoś ca mahātmanaḥ | Saukṣātraṃ ca paraṃ teṣāṃ sahitānāṃ mahātmanām ||
ਵਾਯੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਨੂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਭਰਾ ਬਾਹਲੀਕ ਸੀ; ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਮਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮਹਾਨੁਭਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਸੌਕ੍ਸ਼ਾਤ੍ਰ ਦਾ ਬੰਧਨ ਵੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਉੱਚਾ ਸੀ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਉੱਚੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਰਸ਼ ਭਰਾਤਰੀ ਸਨੇਹ, ਪਰਸਪਰ ਮਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਡੋਲ ਏਕਤਾ ਬਣੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਸੀ।
