उच्च॑ पर्वतमारूढो भीमकर्मा वृकोदर: । गदापाणिर्नरिव्याप्रो ग्रसन्निव महीमिमाम्,“भयंकर कर्म करनेवाले नरश्रेष्ठ भीमसेन भी हाथमें गदा लिये ऊँचे पर्वतपर आरूढ़ हो इस पृथ्वीको ग्रसते हुए-से स्वप्नमें दिखायी दिये हैं
uccaiḥ parvatam ārūḍho bhīmakarmā vṛkodaraḥ | gadāpāṇir nara-vyāghro grasann iva mahīm imām ||
ਸੰਜਯ ਬੋਲਿਆ—ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਭੀਮਸੇਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ—ਭਿਆਨਕ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਵ੍ਰਿਕੋਦਰ, ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਦਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਉੱਚੇ ਪਹਾੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
