उद्योगपर्व — अध्याय १३५: कुन्त्याः कृष्णं प्रति संदेशः
Kuntī’s Message to Kṛṣṇa
अतृप्यन्नमृतस्येव कृच्छाल्लब्धस्य बान्धवात् | उद्यच्छाम्येष शत्रूणां नियमाय जयाय च
atṛpyann amṛtasyeva kṛcchrāl labdhasya bāndhavāt | udyacchāmy eṣa śatrūṇāṃ niyamāya jayāya ca ||
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਗੇ ਤੋਂ ਬੜੀ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਪੀ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਮਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਰਦਾ, ਤਿਵੇਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ-ਸਮ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਮੈਂ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਵੇਖ—ਹੁਣ ਮੈਂ ਸਗੇ-ਸੰਬੰਧੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਉੱਠ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਾਂ, ਸ਼ਤਰੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਦਬਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ।
