Udyoga Parva Adhyaya 133 — A Mother’s Counsel to Saṃjaya
अस्मदीयैश्व शोचद्धिर्नदद्धिश्न परैर्वृतम् अपि त्वां नानुपश्येयं दीनादू दीनमिव स्थितम्
asmadīyaiś ca śocadbhir nadadbhis tu parair vṛtam | api tvāṃ nānupaśyeyaṃ dīnā dū dīnam iva sthitam ||
ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਦਿਨ, ਤਰਸਯੋਗ ਹਾਲਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਿੱਗਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ—ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਸੋਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਡੁੱਬੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਗੱਜਦੇ-ਚੀਕਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਦਲਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰਿਆ—ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ।
