Udyoga Parva Adhyāya 132 — Vidura’s Counsel on Udyama, Yaśas, and Kṣātra-Dharma
त्वमेवं प्रेतवच्छेषे कस्माद् वज़हतो यथा । उत्तिष्ठ हे कापुरुष मा स्वाप्सी: शत्रुनिर्जित:
tvam evaṁ pretavac cheṣe kasmād vajrahato yathā | uttiṣṭha he kāpuruṣa mā svāpsīḥ śatrunirjitaḥ ||
ਵਾਯੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਬਿਜਲੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਜਣ ਨਾਲ ਡਿੱਗੇ ਲਾਸ਼ ਵਾਂਗ ਤੂੰ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਲ ਪਿਆ ਹੈਂ? ਉੱਠ, ਹੇ ਕਾਪੁਰਖ! ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਹਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਪਿਆ ਨਾ ਰਹਿ; ਬੇਬਸੀ ਦੀ ਕਾਇਰਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਡੁੱਬ।
