अध्याय १२२ — कृष्णस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛṣṇa’s Ethical Counsel to Duryodhana
पतनारोहणमिदं कथयिष्यन्ति ये नरा: । विषमाण्यपि ते प्राप्तास्तरिष्यन्ति न संशय:
patanārohaṇam idaṃ kathayiṣyanti ye narāḥ | viṣamāṇy api te prāptās tariṣyanti na saṃśayaḥ ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਜੋ ਲੋਕ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਚੜ੍ਹਨ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਕਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਆਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ, ਉਹ ਭਿਆਨਕ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਆ ਪੈਣ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਣਗੇ; ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ।
