दक्षिणा-दिक्, पितृपक्ष-प्रतिष्ठा, तथा कर्मगतिः — Suparṇa’s Cosmographic Instruction
अदोमूला सुराणां श्रीर्यत्र शक्रो5 भ्यषिच्यत । सुरराज्येन विप्रर्षे देवैश्ञात्र तपश्चितम्
adomūlā surāṇāṃ śrīr yatra śakro 'bhyasicyata | surarājyena viprarṣe devaiś cātra tapaś citam ||
ਯੂਪਰਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਰਿਸ਼ੀ! ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ-ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ ਦਾ ਮੂਲ ਓਥੇ ਹੈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਰ (ਇੰਦਰ) ਦਾ ਦੇਵ-ਰਾਜ੍ਯ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਅਭਿਸ਼ੇਕ ਹੋਇਆ। ਉਸੇ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
