Virāṭa-sabhāyāṃ Saṃniveśaḥ — Assembly at Virāṭa’s Hall and Kṛṣṇa’s Diplomatic Counsel
समेत्य सर्वे सहिता: सुहद्धि- स्तेषां विनाशाय यतेयुरेव । दुर्योधनस्थापि मतं यथाव- न्न ज्ञायते कि नु करिष्यतीति
sametya sarve sahitāḥ suhṛdbhiḥ teṣāṁ vināśāya yatayerur eva | duryodhanasyāpi mataṁ yathāvan na jñāyate kiṁ nu kariṣyatīti ||
ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਹਿਰਦਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਤਰੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਲਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਯਤਨ ਕਰਨਗੇ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਨਾ ਸਮਝੋ। ਪਰ ਯੁੱਧ ਦਾ ਪੱਕਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਹੁਣੇ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ? ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਦੁਰਯੋਧਨ ਦੀ ਨੀਅਤ ਵੀ ਹਾਲੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਨਹੀਂ—ਉਹ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
