Rules for Dharmic Victory in Kṣatriya Engagement
अथैनमभिनिन्दन्ति भिन्न कुम्भमिवाश्मनि | तस्माद् धर्मेण विजयं कोशं लिप्सेत भूमिप:
athainam abhinindanti bhinna-kumbham ivāśmani | tasmād dharmeṇa vijayaṃ kośaṃ lipseta bhūmipaḥ ||
ਫਿਰ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪੱਥਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਟਕਿਆ ਘੜਾ ਟੁੱਟ ਕੇ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਹੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਰੱਖੇ—ਨਿਆਂਯੁਕਤ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ—ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਇਜ਼ਤੀ ਤੇ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਨਾ ਆਵੇ।
