Mantri-Parīkṣā — Testing Ministers, Securing Counsel, and Ethical Criteria for Advisers (अध्याय ८४)

तस्यैवं वर्तमानस्य पुरुषस्थ विजानत: । अमित्रा: सम्प्रसीदन्ति तथा मित्रीभवन्त्यपि,ऐसा बर्ताव करनेवाले विज्ञ पुरुषके शत्रु भी प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं और उसके साथ मैत्री स्थापित कर लेते हैं

tasyaivaṁ vartamānasya puruṣastha vijānataḥ | amitrāḥ samprasīdanti tathā mitrībhavanty api ||

ਜੋ ਵਿਵੇਕੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਡੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮਯੁਕਤ ਆਚਰਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਵੈਰੀ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਤਰੀ ਕਾਇਮ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
