विधानाक्रम्य मित्राणि विधानमुपकल्पयेत् । सामभेदान् विरोधार्थ विधानमुपकल्पयेत्
vidhānākramya mitrāṇi vidhānam upakalpayet | sāmabhedān virodhārtha vidhānam upakalpayet |
ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਕਰਤੱਬ ਦਾ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮਿੱਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਢੁੱਕਵੀਂ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕਰੇ; ਫਿਰ ਸਾਮ, ਭੇਦ ਜਾਂ ਯੁੱਧ—ਜੋ ਉਚਿਤ ਹੋਵੇ, ਉਹੀ ਮਾਰਗ ਅਪਣਾਵੇ।
