Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons
ततस्ते धर्मनिरता: सम्यक् तैरभिपूजिता: । श्वः समेष्याम इत्युक्त्वा यथेष्टं त्वरिता ययु:
tataste dharmaniratāḥ samyak tair abhipūjitāḥ | śvaḥ sameṣyāma ity uktvā yatheṣṭaṃ tvaritā yayuḥ ||
ਤਦ ਉਹ ਧਰਮ-ਨਿਰਤ ਮਹਰਿਸ਼ੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਥੋਚਿਤ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਫਿਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਵਾਂਗੇ” ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੇਰੀ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪਣੇ ਇੱਛਿਤ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ।
