Śānti Parva, Adhyāya 52 — Bhīṣma’s Humility Before Kṛṣṇa and the Granting of Boons

वादित्राणि च सर्वाणि जगुश्नप्सरसां गणा: । न चाहितमनिष्टं च किज्वित्तत्र प्रदृश्यते

vaiśampāyana uvāca | vāditrāṇi ca sarvāṇi jaguḥ apsarasāṃ gaṇāḥ | na cāhitam aniṣṭaṃ ca kiñcit tatra pradṛśyate ||

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਵਾਜੇ ਗੂੰਜ ਉਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਪਸਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ। ਉੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਭੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਐਸੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੱਸਦੀ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਹਾਨਿਕਾਰਕ ਜਾਂ ਅਸ਼ੁਭ ਹੋਵੇ।
