तस्या: प्रीत: स शौचेन भार्गव: कुरुनन्दन । पुत्रार्थ भ्रपयामास चर गाधेस्तथैव च
tasyāḥ prītaḥ sa śaucena bhārgavaḥ kurunandana | putrārthaṃ prārthayāmāsa caraṃ gādhes tathaiva ca ||
ਹੇ ਕੁਰੂਨੰਦਨ, ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਚਿਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਗਵ ਰੁਚੀਕ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਪੁੱਤਰ-ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਾਧਿ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼-ਕਲਿਆਣ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
