पिज्लेक्षणसटं यस्य रूपं दंष्टानखायुधम्‌ । दानवेन्द्रान्तकरणं तस्मै दृप्तात्मने नमः:

Transliteration

piṅgekṣaṇaśaṭaṃ yasya rūpaṃ daṃṣṭā-nakhāyudham | dānavendrāntakaraṇaṃ tasmai dṛptātmane namaḥ ||

Translation

ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਪਿੰਗਲ ਨੇਤਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਟਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯੁਕਤ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਦਾਂਤ ਅਤੇ ਨਖ ਸਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਦਾਨਵ-ਇੰਦਰ (ਹਿਰਣ੍ਯਕਸ਼ਿਪੁ) ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਕੀਤਾ—ਉਸ ਦ੍ਰਿਪ੍ਤਾਤਮਾ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਨਰਸਿੰਹ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਹੈ।
