युधिछिर उवाच प्रसीदन्तु भवन्तो मे प्रणतस्याभियाचत: । प्रत्यासन्नव्यसनिनं न मां धिक्कर्तुमर्हथ
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: prasīdantu bhavanto me praṇatasya abhiyācataḥ | pratyāsanna-vyasaninaṃ na māṃ dhikkartum arhatha ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—“ਹੇ ਪੂਜਣਯੋਗ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣੋ! ਮੈਂ ਨਮਸਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਨਿਮਰਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਵੋ। ਇਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧਿਕਾਰਨਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ੋਭਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ।”
