नागभायोवाच आर्य: सूर्यरथं वोढुं गतोडसौ मासचारिक: । सप्ताष्टभिर्दिनैर्विप्र दर्शयिष्यत्यसंशयम्‌

Transliteration

Nāgabhāryovāca: āryaḥ sūryarathaṁ voḍhuṁ gato ’sau māsacārikaḥ | saptāṣṭabhir dinair vipra darśayiṣyaty asaṁśayam ||

Translation

ਨਾਗਪਤਨੀ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਵਿਪ੍ਰਵਰ! ਮੇਰਾ ਆਰਯ ਪਤੀ ਸੂਰਜਦੇਵ ਦੇ ਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਢੋਣ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਵਾਰ ਇਕ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਪੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਸੱਤ-ਅੱਠ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ—ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ।
