केचिदध्ययने युक्ता वेदब्रतपरा: शुभा: । बुद्धिमन्तो गता: स्वर्ग तुष्टात्मानो जितेन्द्रिया:

Transliteration

kecid adhyayane yuktā vedavrataparāḥ śubhāḥ | buddhimanto gatāḥ svargaṃ tuṣṭātmāno jitendriyāḥ ||

Translation

ਕਈ ਬੁੱਧਿਮਾਨ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਸਵਾਧਿਆਇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੱਗੇ, ਵੇਦ-ਵਿਹਿਤ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਵਰਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਡੋਲ, ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟ-ਚਿੱਤ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਤੇਂਦ੍ਰੀ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੁਰਗ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਏ।
