धर्मद्वारबहुत्वविमर्शः — Reflection on the Many ‘Doors’ of Dharma (Śānti-parva 342)
वैशम्पायन उवाच शृणु राजन् यथा<<चष्ट फाल्गुनस्य हरि: प्रभु: । प्रसन्नात्मा55त्मनो नाम्नां निरुक्त गुणकर्मजम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca | śṛṇu rājan yathā caṣṭa phālgunasya hariḥ prabhuḥ | prasannātmā ātmano nāmnāṁ niruktaṁ guṇa-karma-jam ||
ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਸੁਣੋ। ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸਰਵਸਮਰੱਥ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹਰੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਚਿੱਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਫਾਲਗੁਣ (ਅਰਜੁਨ) ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਯਥਾਰਥ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ, ਉਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਵੇਂ ਸੁਣਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਸੁਣੋ।
