धर्मस्य बहुद्वारत्वम् — Nārada’s Audience with Indra (Śānti-parva 340)
जनमेजयेन तच्छुत्वा कृतं सम्यग् यथाविधि । यूयं हि तप्ततपस: सर्वे च चरितव्रता:
janamejayena tac chrutvā kṛtaṃ samyag yathāvidhi | yūyaṃ hi taptatapasaḥ sarve ca caritavratāḥ ||
ਇਹ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਜਨਮੇਜਯ ਨੇ ਵਿਧੀ-ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਠੀਕ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਭ ਤਪ ਨਾਲ ਤਪੇ ਹੋਏ ਤਪਸਵੀ ਹੋ, ਵਰਤ-ਆਚਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਹੋ।
