देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship
सत्ये तिष्ठ रतो धर्मे हित्वा सर्वमनार्जवम् | देवतातिथिशेषेण मात्रां प्राणस्य संलिह
satye tiṣṭha rato dharme hitvā sarvam anārjavam | devatātithiśeṣeṇa mātrāṁ prāṇasya saṁliha ||
ਸੱਚ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਡੋਲ ਰਹਿ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਵਕਰਤਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਤ ਰਹਿ। ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਤਿਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਅੰਨ ਬਚੇ, ਉਹੀ ਮਿਤਾਹਾਰ ਵਾਂਗ—ਕੇਵਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ-ਧਾਰਣ ਲਈ—ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰ।
