पिता गुरु्न संदेहो वेदविद्याप्रद: प्रभु: अतो भार्गव इत्युक्त मया गोत्र तवान्तिके
pitā gurau na saṁdeho vedavidyāpradaḥ prabhuḥ | ato bhārgava ity uktaṁ mayā gotraṁ tavāntike ||
ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੰਦੇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਵੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਗੁਰੂ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੋਤ ‘ਭਾਰਗਵ’ ਕਿਹਾ।
