Parāśara’s Counsel on बुद्धि (Discernment), Karma-Consequences, and Avoidance of Pāpānubandha Actions

ततो देवगणाः: क्रुद्धा: सर्वतः शरवृष्टिभि: । अश्मवर्षमपोहन्त वृत्रप्रेरितमाहवे

tato devagaṇāḥ kruddhāḥ sarvataḥ śaravṛṣṭibhiḥ | aśmavarṣam apohanta vṛtrapreritam āhave ||

ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਦੇਵਗਣ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਿਤ ਹੋ ਉਠੇ। ਯੁੱਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਤੀਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਦੀ ਚਲਾਈ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਖਾ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕ ਕੇ ਨਿਸ਼ਫਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
