अन्ये कृतयुगे धर्मास्त्रितायां द्वापरे परे । अन्ये कलियुगे धर्मा यथाशक्ति कृता इव
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca |
anye kṛtayuge dharmās tritāyāṃ dvāpare pare |
anye kaliyuge dharmā yathāśakti kṛtā iva ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਯੁਗ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਹੋਰ ਹਨ, ਤ੍ਰੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਵਾਪਰ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਹੋਰ; ਅਤੇ ਕਲੀ ਯੁਗ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਫਿਰ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਦੱਸੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ—ਮਾਨੋ ਮੁਨੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਧਰਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
