पक शायर बछ। अीद:-फफतप--क - आलम्भके दो अर्थ हैं--स्पर्श और हिंसा। क्षत्रिय नरेश किसी वस्तुका स्पर्श करके अथवा छूकर जो दान देते हैं
bhīṣma uvāca | ity ukto 'bhipraśasyaitat paramarṣes tu śāsanam | mokṣadharmārthasaṃyuktam idaṃ praṣṭuṃ pracakrame ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ! ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਪਰਮਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਆਸ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੁਕਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ; ਫਿਰ ਮੋਖਸ਼ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੋਰ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸੁਕ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਆਰੰਭ ਕੀਤਾ।
