सर्गकालक्रिया वेदा: कर्ता कार्य क्रियाफलम्‌ | प्रोक्त ते पुत्र सर्व वै यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि

Transliteration

sargakālakriyā vedāḥ kartā kārya kriyāphalam | prokta te putra sarva vai yan māṁ tvaṁ paripṛcchasi ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ! ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ, ਕਾਲ, ਕਰਮ, ਵੇਦ, ਕਰਤਾ, ਕਰਤੱਬ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ-ਫਲ—ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਸਮਝਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ।
