Yoga-kṛtya (योककृत्य) — Vyāsa on Sense-Restraint, Obstacles, and Brahman-Realization
सधर्मव्रतसंयोगं यथाधर्म युगे युगे । विक्रियन्ते स्वधर्मस्था वेदवादा यथागमम्
sadharmavratasaṃyogaṃ yathā dharma yuge yuge | vikriyante svadharmasthā vedavādā yathāgamam ||
ਵਿਆਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹਰ ਯੁਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮ-ਆਚਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਰਤ-ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਯੋਗ ਉਸੇ ਯੁਗ ਦੇ ਧਰਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਯੁਗਾਂ-ਯੁਗਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਘਟਣ ਨਾਲ, ਵੇਦ-ਵਚਨ ਬੋਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ੍ਵਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਟਿਕੇ ਪੁਰਖ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ-ਵਿਧਾਨ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਬਦਲਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਰੂਪ ਰੂਪਾਂਤਰਿਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
