ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana
River-of-Saṃsāra Metaphor
सर्वे सर्वेषु भूतेषु यथावत् प्रतिपेदिरे । सर्वे दाक्षायणीपुत्रा: प्राजापत्या महाबला:
sarve sarveṣu bhūteṣu yathāvat pratipedire | sarve dākṣāyaṇīputrāḥ prājāpatyā mahābalāḥ |
ਉਹ ਸਭ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਥੋਚਿਤ ਵਰਤਾਓ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉਹ ਸਭ ਦਕਸ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਧੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਜਨਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਜਾਪਤੀ ਕਸ਼੍ਯਪ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਬਲੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਸਨ।
