इत्येतद् बलिना गीतमनहंकारसंज्ितम् | वाक्यं श्रुत्वा सहस्राक्ष: खमेवारुरुहे तदा,राजा बलिका वह पूर्वोक्त अनहंकारसंज्ञक वाक्य सुनकर सहसनेत्रधारी इन्द्र पुनः आकाशको ही उड़ चले
ity etad balinā gītam anahaṅkāra-saṃjñitam | vākyaṃ śrutvā sahasrākṣaḥ kham evāruruhe tadā |
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਰਾਜਾ ਬਲੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਗਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ, ‘ਅਨਹੰਕਾਰ’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਉਹ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ, ਸਹਸ੍ਰਾਕਸ਼ ਇੰਦਰ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਮੁੜ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਵੱਲ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਗਿਆ।
