Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
स तु राममुपागम्य शिरसाभिप्रणम्य च । ब्राह्मणो भार्गवो5स्मीति गौरवेणाभ्यगच्छत
sa tu rāmam upāgamya śirasābhipraṇamya ca | brāhmaṇo bhārgavo 'smīti gauraveṇābhyagacchata ||
ਉਹ ਰਾਮ (ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ) ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ, ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ “ਮੈਂ ਭਾਰਗਵ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਹਾਂ” ਆਖ ਕੇ ਗੁਰੂ-ਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਰਨ ਲੈ ਲਈ।
