मनुरुवाच — इन्द्रिय-मनः-ज्ञान-क्रमः
Manu on the hierarchy of senses, mind, and knowledge
सत्यमग्निपरीचारो विविक्तानां च सेवनम्
bhīṣma uvāca | akṛtaprajño bālo mohaṃ gacchati jāpakaḥ | sa mohān nirayaṃ yāti tatra gatvānūśocati ||
ਭੀਸ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਜਿਸ ਜਪਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਕਾ ਵਿਵੇਕ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਜਪ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਮੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸੇ ਮੋਹ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਉਹ ਨਰਕ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਿਲਾਪ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
