Description of the Path of Meditation
नश्यतीत्येव जानामि शान्तमग्निमनिन्धनम् | गतिर्यस्य प्रमाणं वा संस्थान वा न विद्यते
naśyatīty eva jānāmi śāntam agnim anindhanam | gatir yasya pramāṇaṃ vā saṃsthānaṃ vā na vidyate ||
ਭਰਦਵਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਇੰਧਨ ਤੋਂ ਰਹਿਤ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਅੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੀ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਨਾ ਗਤੀ ਹੈ, ਨਾ ਮਾਪ, ਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਿਸ਼ਚਿਤ ਅਵਸਥਾ—ਉਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੀਵ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਵੀ ਐਸੀ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
